For the first time since 2012, when it was Kilkenny also missed out, one of the long-established big three of camogie will not be in the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland semi-finals, after Cork saw off their conquerors in last year’s final.

Meath and Kilkenny secured big wins in the Glen Dimplex All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship quarter-finals at FBD Semple Stadium this afternoon, securing their place alongside Derry and Westmeath in the last four.

Kilkenny and Cork will meet in a mouth-watering quarter-final rematch of last year’s Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie final as part of a double-header with the All-Ireland hurling semi-final involving Kilkenny and Clare next Sunday.
The countdown is on to the FRS Recruitment GAA World Games 2023, and the drive to the Oakleaf County started with yesterday’s launch of the programme of events in the host county of Derry.
The Camogie Association acknowledges that a clash with LGFA fixtures was unavoidable this weekend.

Limerick manager John Lillis is maintaining an upbeat outlook as his largely inexperienced side faces Offaly in their final Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Group 3 tie on Saturday (4.30pm), with a relegation play-off series awaiting the loser.
