The Leinster Council has agreed to the national proposal to run the 2018 and 2019 Leinster Minor Championships with the finalists progressing to the All-Ireland semi finals.
It has also been decided to invite Galway and Roscommon to participate in the Leinster Minor A and B championships over this trial period.
A final decision at national level will be made before the end of the year.
