I was delighted to be in the grounds of Kilkenny Castle to launch the 2022 Leinster Provincial Adult Championships.
After a two years absence from Provincial competitions due to the ongoing pandemic it signifies that summer is finally here and with it comes the expectation of another eagerly awaited Leinster Championship across the Senior, Intermediate and Junior grades.

I am excited that we are now in a position to resume normal activities and I wish to acknowledge the continued efforts of all our volunteers across the Province as we look forward to highly anticipated Championships.

The 2022 Leinster Championships provide us with the opportunity to celebrate our players and to once again showcase our game in Leinster. I wish all the players and team mentors the best of luck as they go in search of Provincial honours.

We in Leinster Camogie are delighted that the  2022 Leinster Senior Camogie Final will be played as a double header with the Leinster GAA Senior Hurling Championship fixture of Galway V Laois. These games will be played on Saturday 14th of May at MW Hire O’Moore Park, Portlaoise. Once more we thank Leinster GAA for ensuring this double header has been agreed and I know it will be greatly appreciated by the players and counties.
The Leinster Intermediate and Junior Championship Finals will be played as a double on Sunday, May 15th.

Meanwhile at Abbotstown our Secretary Brendan Cooper launched our Junior Camogie Final between Wicklow and Louth
